We developed a line of degradable bags fifteen years ago. At that time there was no interest in them, so we haven’t promoted them. Times change and there now seems to be a little interest in these types of bags.
Degradable bags are available on all polypropylene style bags we manufacture. Besides, even non additive added bags are already in the process of degradation, because when sterilizing bags and substrate, the heat of 121 degrees C or thereabouts will degrade polypropylene. That is why after autoclaving, bags become wrinkled. and stiffer and weaker than when bags were new.
